    Curious about the numbers on my 123's deck. Its a 48 inch deck with the number: 481U1111 stamped on an IH tag. The funny part is the last 1 in the number has a 2 stamped over it.. What does this mean? Also, is it supposed to discharge out both sides, or am I missing a plate or something...

    My old 123 scared the crap out of me today when it let loose a bang after shutdown (second time ive ran it since I got it). Isn't that why the newer stuff has a fuel shutoff solenoid on the carb? I had a Tecumseh that I took that solenoid off of that would throw a mean fireball....Too bad it...
