Nic Pretty much what I was figuring, but nice to have someone else give opinions when swapping stuff out. main reason for the swap is my 38" has been nothing but trouble. Seems like when I figure something out I find 2 more "fixes" that I need to do. Started with belt jumping constantly, put...

Don't know what I was thinking at the moment I said it was a 107, It is a 108 Cant use the mule drive front section from my original deck since its a 38" and the pulley is centered under the tractor and as such the idler pulleys on the mule drive are "pointing" at the wrong angles. So I guess...

Nic I don't have any NF pieces. my 107 is a wide frame. Not sure on the donor tractor info, but does have the bent frame and narrow mounting on the front lift arms. uses a wider belt than mine and the deck appears to be a 50C model. What I'm figuring from studying pics on here is that I need...

Just got my hands on a 50" mower and mule drive. my tractor is a 107 and mower came from newer model red cub with electric pto. mule drive slide right on and latched but it puts the belt into the pto release pivot. also has the deck to far to the rear. Can this deck be used on my tractor? and if...

"digger" Looked down the belts and deck pulley looked like it was nose diving, We notched and welded lift arms to bring the deck back to level, it seemed to help a lot until now. How much wobble is acceptable to allow for clearance in the bearing?

Update on my belt jumping. I'm ready to scrap the thing. New belt and old belt acted the same. old belt just out of the blue jumped and then after it did it wouldn't stay on any longer. Bought a new belt, didn't help, tweeked the deck lift arms to level out the deck, worked great till today...

Update on jumping deck belt on my 108. Going by deck pulley looking like it was nose diving to much I removed the front lift bracket from its mounting points, " 2 arms at deck, 2 pivots at lift frame, and 1 arm at tractor frame" sectioned the single arm at tractor frame so that front mounting...

Belt fits fine. Just started doing this suddenly. I replaced belt because old one was getting worn. But it still acts the same. It worked great up until first time it jumped and from then on it wont stay on more than 20 feet. There is very little play in the center deck pulley. It just "looks"...
