    cub cadet 129 hydrostatic question

    After setting my 129 hydrostatic speed on level ground my tractor will speed up going down a hill. I thought the transmission was supposed to maintain the speed that you set?

    147 hood latches

    The original metal latches already caused significant damage to the fiberglass dash. After removing the latches and installing the vinyl edge guard I haven't noticed any other damage. I find it interesting that some people will bash a new idea even without even trying it!

    Loose Steering on Narrow Frame Cubs

    That tapered pin suggestion worked great at removing the looseness in my steering knuckle but now has indicated all the looseness is in the axle pin. Any suggestions on how to eliminate it?

    I don’t know where you get your false information, when the military transports their dogs they transport them in their cages! For the fact that the cages were left behind indicates that they shot and killed the military dogs that were left behind!

    Or you could do like I did and remove the latches and install a piece of black automotive door edge protector that makes a snug fit when you close the hood and also stops all the rattling noise. See attached pics.

    IH model 70 engine question

    I had that same problem when I replaced the coil with a new one that was for a car. After replacing it with the one that is designed for that engine it ran fine.
