my 124 blows the front crank seal out when i am plowing snow.i mowed with this tractor for 11 years and never had a problem.could it be the 10-30 oil i am using because of temperature?that is the only difference i can think of.i will appreciate any input from you guys.thanks jimmy
to jbevens re vacuum leak.the easiest way to find a vacuum leak is to spray starting fluid around carb base etc at idle.if it is leaking,the rpm will increase.make sure air cleaner is installed.

i just acquired a 2009 1046vt with only 5 hrs on it the only problem i have is this thing is very cold blooded.it will not start under 50 deg.without a shot of starting fluid.it does not have a seperate choke like my 1042 but wide open throttle is labled choke,any body familiar with this.would...

hi guys,finally got enough snow to try out my plow this week,put a cc 42 blade on my old 104 with chains and no weights and it works the nuts.next summer i am going to put my qa snow blower on my 127 also have fun this winter.
i was on e bay the other day looking at parts that i need and came across a guy with a machine shop that rebuilds the hydro check valves for $35 each.there was no phone # or address though but his e bay ad runs regularly.just thought i would pass this on as they are big money. thanks jim
i am in the process of refurbing a 109 while trying to start it,it started driving forward on its own.after i lubed up the linkage to hydro it seems better.was something stuck?like the swash plate? thanks for any insite
