    I hung the 44a deck on my 1450 the other day and started mowing. The outer blades would barely spin, so I pulled the cover off. The idler pulley bearing went out and the pulley fell off. The spindle bearings are getting rough also. So I checked parts online... almost $600 for parts to fix it...

    Finally getting around to replacing the blown head gasket on my 1450. Good thing a picked up a head on fleabay awhile back- no saving this one! I didn't notice the new head has the spark plug hole in a different place though. I wonder what it really goes to? Guess I will be trimming the plug...

    I scored a brand new K321 head for $26. Hopefully that will cure my head gasket eater. It's going on with an OE gasket. After 4 winters of scooping snow, I finally found a blade. So I figure if I'm ready for it, it shouldn't snow!

    On my 1450 head gasket destroyer... the first gasket seen a full season of the side shields on. After replacing it, I left them off thinking they might be making it run hotter.     Question. Will a snow blade off a 782 work on my 1450? It has hyd. angle. My 1450 has hyd. lift. Would I have to set up some sort of selector valve?

    Found this 129? at a friend's mini junkyard. I don't know anything about it except that it appears unmolested. Straight tin, hydro lift and a sleeve hitch that looks like it was never used. Thinking of making an offer, maybe see if it runs.
