An update on my 126 not turning over, I replaced my starter generator and it turned over and started right up. I got the starter generator off of my 100, it's nice to have another old cub for diagnosing problems.

Hey guys, my 126 won't turn over this morning, when I turn the key all I hear is a clicking noise from the solenoid, it clicks once and that's it, I tried jumping it but I still get the one click, what steps should I take? Thanks

So I ordered the replacement from DB Electrical and they ship me the replacement S/G which I installed. The problem is that when I go and tighten the belt I pull the S/G as far as...

Here's a pic of my leaking carb from my K301, the float is filled with gas, must be a needle size hole because I cannot find it. If you look closely at the float you can see the gas in it. Matt, you were right, it's a Walbro carb with a plastic float.

Matt, none of the Kohler carbs have plastic floats ? This is a replacement 12hp K301 engine and not the original engine. The carb does have 3 adjustments. I will take the carb off tomorrow and post pics of it and the plastic float.

Harry, the gas is leaking from inside the carb not from the edges of the bowl. I will post the pics of the float when I replace it sometime next week. Thanks guys. Dave

Hey Guys, I have a 126 with a 12hp engine, today I released the gas shutoff and gas immediately started leaking from the carb. I removed the carb from the engine and then removed the bowl. Here's my 19 month old and my 1973 126, he really loves mowing the grass. When I start to mow the lawn he stares out of the windows and fusses until my wife brings him outside to me.
