    1200: Moog motor mounts?

Does anyone happen to know the correct Moog mounts to use for the isolation mounts? Does Napa sell them? Thanks much.

Matt, Original cast pan with no RTV. I didn't torque the heck out them, but they need tightening. I rebuilt the whole engine so everything was clean. Now I'll have to disconnect the harness, clutch guard, etc. What a pain.

Cub 122 restore finished. Been driving this thing around for a few hours and the K301 oil pan gasket has some dripping. I assume this is from the initial break-in thermal expansion. There isn't much clearance down there and I need to snug up the bolts. What is the feasability of removing 4...

Thanks Kraig. Unfortunately, my trim is missing and I may be in trouble without it. Black cover might be an option.

Cub 122 seat question. Need to finish off my resto with a seat, but my original seat needs restored. While this is an option, does anyone utilize something similar which may be presentable? The high-back replacement is not an option. Photos would be great and I might even consider black...

Narrow frame 122 Hood question: Where the hood attaches to the grill, there is a heavy washer welded to the inside of the hood. My hood only has this on one side and I imagine the other side fell off because there is a noticeable ring still visible. Do both sides have the same reinforcement? I...

I'm putting a brand new wire harness in my 122 and have a question regarding the generator/starter. I believe that there are only 3 leads going to the terminal posts, but I've seen other models with a ground wire to the mounting bracket bolt. I don't believe my model has this. Can anyone...

Is there an easy way to install and adjust the carb/governor linkage? The Kohler book stinks and the manual kind of generalizes. I have a K301 in a 122, original governor arm and carb. Tried to install and adjust, but there seems to be too much spring tension for full throttle and the...

Good morning all, Restoring a 122 and I need some information regarding the seat. Does anyone know where I can purchase, or have mine restored? I want to retain the original white one with teal trim. My fiberglass shell is in super shape. Thanks, Alex

Have a few questions regarding the restoration of my 122. Front PTO clutch: when looking at the front of the engine, which way does the locking collar for the PTO bearing get tightened, clockwise or counter? Also, which direction does the engine typically spin from this view? Cub Cadet...

Items #7 & #63, as interference from the plug affects both. Nice schematic. I'm not sure if something from a 128 would work, but I'd like to preserve the original look. thanks

Restoring a 66' 122 and the previous owner butchered up my heat shields for the newer head design on the original K301. Are there revised heat shields available or do I need to customize something?

Matt, Possibly your engine is a low serial # as well. I grabbed the serial number off of my block and it seems to be a very early production of spec. 4759B. Serial # is C004320. Kohler is insistent on selling me a mini-block and has not provided any documentation, drawings, etc. Like any...
