I posted the incorrect lift handel .When out to Cub storage building and grabed it for a picture. My problem is I have three tractors apart and did grab the incorrect one for a picture. Did some one want pictures of the inside of a 61 Original dash tower?

My 1961 original has rust that IF I would have bought it new it would never have gotten any rust .every winter spray the cub with a water (moisture replant) and a washable one. WD40 works nice .My 1999 fifth wheel camper rims are just like new with no rust and the painted strips are still great shape.I would have much rather it was in better shape and original. But paint it will get soon I hope.

Donald - thanks for the re-post. That one looks like mine!! And thanks for the dash pic. Was the solenoid painted or silver?

Lewis - believe it or not the clutch was fine. I was almost afraid to look! However, it ate the crap out of the frame! Luckily had an extra.

Last - just pulled the rear axles on the O to replace the seals and the brake side was FULL of mud & crud. Any reason I can't take the power washer to that dude and clean it up? Tranny is drained and would dry it good. Anyone done that?

Terry Davis

Use a degreaser and then blow it out with air . I then sprayed WD 40 a water replentant over all the parts.
