Looking for the proper tool,to remove the valves in my K-301.Are the removal tools that have a turn screw from above work better than the ones that come in from the side?Any other tips or concerns,fair price,and where to purchase?Thanks for the help.

Those are the ones I prefer for removal, but I like the briggs style ones for installation. The C style ones work for both, though. Just a little more fiddly trying to keep the keepers in place with the c style sometimes.
