New forum, and my 122 made an appearance after sitting for 2+ years

It was a little dirty, needed a carb cleaning and overall cleaning. A friend's kid Muk wanted to try out garden tractor pulling. We got it running by 10am the day of the pull, last Saturday only to have the pull canceled due to rain. They rescheduled for Sunday. On Sunday the coil on the 122 decided to fail. I swapped one from my 149 and it purred and pulled like a dream. Muk was smiling ear to ear! Me too, and I think the 122 also was

Gotta love 122’s!!!

Great job Vince on getting a youngster behind the wheel! You never know how they will “take to the hobby” once they have had some seat time. There is no place like the drivers seat to learn to like vintage Cub Cadets! Love all the cool pics.
