Guys, I saw this across the street. Lyle Baker has passed away. Here's his profile here:

Here's an excerpt from his daughter who email a member from across the street who knew Lyle.

I know that you do not know me but I am Lyle Baker's oldest daughter, Lisa. It is with great sadness to inform you of daddy's passing. He passed away Thursday July 16th (1:10 am) at Wesley Long Hospital here in Greensboro NC.
I was going through his e-mail addresses and my mom wanted me to inform you.

Regards,

Lisa Baker Combs

Thank You for posting this Terry. Lyle will be truly missed by all of us. Angel. Fancy and I were blessed to get to meet and visit with Lyle from time to time. A fantastic gentleman with good humor and great wisdom. On the day that each one of us is called HOME we can rest assured that Lyle will be waiting there for us and ready to show us his new collection of Cub Cadets.

If anyone ever spent time with him in person or on the phone, You will know that he'll be missed. He was truly one of a kind and I'll miss our late night talks.

Sorry to hear about this, I never met or talked with Lyle but I certainly recognize his name. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I didn't know Lyle personally, but he was one of the first ones here who gave me advice when I got my first Cub back in February '09. He gave me some sound advice.
