I found this on amazon, is there another source that I could get OMP, (Original Manufacturer Parts) Kit?

Kohler doesn't really support those engines directly anymore, so you'll have to piece together a kit from NOS parts. I'm sure Charlie has most of that stuff, or you can scrounge around e-bay.

I am not going to hold you to it, so would you use this Amazon Kit to rebuild that engine?

Personally, if I wasn't going OEM/NOS, I would get a kit from iSaveTractors. He manufactures (or has manufactured) all his stuff and it's good quality aftermarket and he'll stand behind it. Amazon is hit and miss, but that's just me personally.

I've bought pistons and rings and rods from him in the past and been pleased with them. It's not OEM, but some of the stuff is super hard to find OEM, depending on what you need.

The cylinder needs to be inspected/honed/rebored and measured before ordering parts.

I've used STENS parts in several engines I've rebuilt. They have fit correctly and worked great.

I agree with Dennis Frisk. I also have used STENS parts with very good results.

I used Kohler Pistons several times. He usually has some OEM and aftermarket parts available, But on some of these engines not all options are available any longer. And as mentioned earlier unless you have it measured or measure it yourself you don't know what size piston/rings you need.
