Anyone up on drones?
Been asked to look around for a drones to be used to scout crops. Capable of video and pictures. Something user friendly, not too techy.
Don't know a lot about them, so any info would be great.
5k budget max.
Like to not use with phone, is that possible? Again, not much knowledge with them, seen one before phone was plugged into controller???

At one time the IH Dealership I work at sold DJI Phantom 4, and Maverick Drones, and used the software called Drone Deploy for Plant count, Nitrogen deficiency, and aerial viewing. You can draw a field boundary and the drone flies itself at whatever set height you choose. Since then, CaseIH terminated their agreement with Drone Deploy, but you can go direct. I used my Ipad for a larger screen and worked great.

Interesting. So depending on the controller, an iPad or similar can be used instead of a phone? I'm guessing data is needed on the iPad?

Would really like to find one that doesn't use a phone, one that has a display screen on the controller 🤔

Correct, download the Drone App to the Ipad and you are good to go.
