Need advice why the drive shaft constantly spins. Photo shows pressure plate pulled away for inspection and engine not running. Tried everything in the book and not quite sure what is going on. Clutch adjustments have been made. One suggestion is the shaft isn't straight into the engine and a degree or two could possibly cause this (torque?)--I will try to loosen the engine mount bolts and reseat it this weekend. Any other thoughts?

It sounds like the driveshaft is dragging in the pilot bushing. Lock down the clutch pedal and see if you can spin the shaft by hand. If it doesn’t spin freely, loosen the engine mounting bolts and move the engine around until the shaft spins freely and tighten the bolts.
 
What was recommended. I see you have the anti rattle clips on the clutch, I only use one. Clip the other 2 off and that may stop what you are experiencing. Also that area looks oily, is the clutch disc also? never use oil in that area.
 
Thanks to all, yes a lot of oil that I need to clean out. The pilot bushing? I'll have to look at where that is, I don't remember. I thought maybe the throw out bearing, but that's separate. Have to dig out my manuals for that specific bushing location.
 
Pilot bushing is in the center of the 3-pin driver, #8 in your parts diagram screenshot.

IIRC it is a fairly standard size oilite bushing and should be available locally if you have a motion industries, grainger, etc.
