Hey guys- got my spindles tore apart on my 42inch mower deck. Deck is solid, no cracks. However, the double pulley(center) is lopsided, and the spindle cup assembly was hard to remove from the mower deck itself. It wouldn’t slide out from the bearings. Had to use a BFH and a punch. I compared that spindle cup assembly to the other two, and could not see any differences. All three have the same wear pattern on the shaft of the spindle cup (part number 473 436 R92) Do all three need replaced?

I haven't seen Jim in probably 15, maybe 20 years. He has changed some but haven't we all. Never knew he could sing and you're right - he's really good!

I always thought he was the one that put the fan in fanatic! Until I met the Chestnut family that is!

Why you have two input lines on your carb on the Allis? Am I missing something???

Mike, one is a return line to the tank. The pump keeps pressure on the carb and the carb just takes what it needs.
