no , Q scale won't let turbos run. but there are a couple alky burning twins up around that 100 hp mark . both broke rearend parts Saturday.

Dennis, here in my local clubs in northern Indiana, there is a class that has two or three diesel tractors with three cylinders with turbos. They are quite impressive to watch.

Guys, A friend of mine is building a pulling tractor as a father and son project. He said that the rules he had satiated that he is only aloud to use a #26 carb. The carb he has is a newer walbro fixed jet carb with a number 53, or 56 (sorry CRS already…) Would this be the same as an older 26?

Tim, the new fixed jet walbros are the replacement to the older adjustable 26mm carbs. but, they aren't worth much for pulling. if he can find a 26 with the adjustable main he'll be much better off. the fixed jet carbs don't work well when they pull down. they seam to have a big lean spot.

Anybody have any good ideas for a crank pulley for my starter.I ended up with a 1-1/8 PTO end crank and now my starter pulley will not fit.Short of $75 from Midwest SC for an aluminum pulley and hub I don't know of any alternatives. Thanks for the ideas.....Joe

you have 3 choice's the way it looks. cut the end of the cramk to 1 in. bore your pully out to 1 in. or buy the super cub pully. 1 nice think about the super cub pully is if you can put either a 1 or 1 1/8 center hub in it.

Thanks Don,that's what I came up with too.I am tryin' to get a local machine shop to bore the pulley and use a broach on the keyway. If that doesn't pan out I'll spend the big bucks for the trick MSC pulley.I'm glad you confirmed the choices for me.Makes me feel better knowing I wasn't missin' something. Thanks for your knowledge....Joe

anyone whos pulled NQS knows Indiana puller Tom Bisner. he passed away last week. our thoughts & prayers are with his family. My favorite line from Tom was when he was asked whats a hoosier? he responded by saying it started because of all the people asking whosyer daddy ?

The little burg of Shopiere near me had a garden tractor pul put on by the Rock County Pulling club. Here are a few pictures of the action.

The guy in the 1st picture won his class. That stock 10hp pulled real good. Of course when he got to the end of the pull, he hopped off and let his son take care of the tractor after that. The old guy didn't walk real well and the 90+ heat didn't help but he was all smiles going down the track.

Of course some people have to paint a good tractor to thier preference. The next to it has AC decals on it.

Nice Pics Wes. Just a reminder the NQS Super Stock Shootout is in Henry IL. Wednesday July 13th @ 6:30. 40 of the toughest NQS Super Stock tractors will be pulling in 2 heats , top 5 I believe from each heat go to the finals to pull it off for top honers.

congratulations to Gary Quik winner of the NQS SS shoot out. Mike Fisher finished 2nd & Jim Vogt 3rd.

Question on the clutch pivot bracket.
How do I reinforce the area where the 2 quater inch bolts go through on the pivot for the clutch arm?
The metal on my 122 looks to be streached out of place and flexes alot when I press down on the clutch pedal.
