1650 Tiller Belt

Looking for a rear tiller drive belt [7/16" x 1451/2"] seems its discontinued, any suggestions where to find a reasonable priced replacement. Thanks

Seeing as the 61959-c1 belt is discontinued I've found a 1/2" x 146" kevlar belt. 146" outside dia and 144" inside dia. Do you think this would work? Thanks

personal opinion...try it...why not?? the 1/2 might ride higher in the pulley if they're designed for 7/16 but how else are you going to prove it???

Thanks guys, Ill order that belt and as soon as the snow goes away I'll change from the blade to the tiller and give it a shot!

That belt will work well. It's that same one that I use on my 1450.... bought it from Charlie several years ago.

Align your mule drive pulleys so they run straight to the back and make sure you have enough tension on the belt.

Two questions come to mind.

#1 do you have the correct mule drive installed with the 2 pullies not canted to the left as for a mower deck?

#2 Does your tiller installation include part #5 and #12 in the illustration below?

No 5, no 12. Bought the 1450 with tiller on it.

The OEM belt is NLA from Cub Cadet, so you'll have to find a NOS one or go this route.
