Hello, working on replacing the deck spindles on the 44A deck, I am stumped as to getting the pulleys off the spindles - there is a woodruff key in the pulley nut - never seen one in a nut before - is it locked on for all time? I can't figure out how to get the key out so I can turn the nut... Thanks for your advice!

I personally have not seen the key in the nut ,any I've taken apart the nut spins off ( impact wrench & socket) and the key is in the pulley part . maybe post a pic for others to see and comment on !
