All have benefits and drawbacks
The red weight and the JD tractor weights are easy on and off. The JD weights use up the sleeve hitch which is fine for pushing snow but must be removed for garden tillage

It doesn’t look great but I use old rotors and drum brakes. I tack welded them together after making holes for 2 bolts.

Using old rotors seems like a great idea. I might have to try that for myself.
