Bought a running 782 several weeks ago. Needs some work, but overall a working tractor. However ran into a problem with replacing the front tires. The wheels would not come off the axle. After the usual big hammer episode decided I needed to use a puller. Well all sorts of puller ideas came to mind. However they were the use of welded angle iron and bolts. Decided that would be to much work. Ended up drilling and tapping two holes equidistant from the hub hole and using a standard steering wheel puller set. Holes were drilled through the first part of the hub and tapped 5/16"- 24 TPI. Wheels came right off after some impact wrench work. The rear bearing was rusted to the axle on both wheels.
