Looking for a QA42A blower to put on my 1450. Either ready to go or one that needs work. Within 100 miles of Rochester MN.

Nick, I have a QA42A that I picked up years ago as a spare. I have never used it so I can't say how well it works. It would need a belt, a new wear/cutter bar and a little bit of repair to one end of the auger housing where it appears to have hit something and bent the left side of the auger housing back, see photo for detail. The gearbox feels tight, but the driveshaft has some play in the keyways, it might just need new keys. It's a 4 paddle auger with typical wear on the auger flights. The chain adjuster looks to be in good condition. I don't know if the lift rod is the correct one for it or if it's one for my other QA42, it's 32" long which is the same as the lift rod for my QA42 I use on my 125. Perhaps someone can confirm the length for a lift rod for a QA42A on a 1450. The skids are worn down but appear to never have been flipped so the other side has plenty of wear left.

I'm in the Somerset, WI area which is just around the 100 mile mark from you, perhaps a bit under. I'd like to get $150 for it.

I have one Center Point IA. Will try to get pictures tomorrow. I'm thinking $125 since I don't need it and it isn't doing any good sitting around.

Can you tell me what you paid for your blower, I have one I want too sell
Thanks

Price depends on condition and location. If you are in an area where they are in demand but short supply the price would be a bit higher. If they are plentiful in your area then the price would be a bit lower. The prices above are in Minnesota and Wisconsin and Iowa. Snowthrowers are fairly common in this area.
