Hauled an Original home last winter that needs some attention. Have never tried to drive it under its own power. 1st and reverse seem to be "missing", but it appears to go into 2nd and 3rd.
My question is, are there any internal parts that are interchangeable between the Original transmission and a regular NF transmission? I have a transmission from a 100 I could dive into.
Thanks,
Paul

Chances are pretty good that you have a bent 1st - reverse shifter fork which is not too difficult to straighten once you get to it. Then again if it is totally worn out with the ends totally worn off, replacement parts will be necessary. Get the cover off and take a look.
