My original 18x8.50x8 front tires are shot. I have a like new set of 20x8x8. I know they are 1 " taller but will it affect anything ?

Hmm - isn't 20 actually 2" taller than 18 ??? (1" below the spindle and 1" above the spindle).
What I'm really wondering is what the actual dimensions are. NHS tires are notorious for not being even close to the manufacturer's stated dimensions. I had a pair of Goodyear Turf Tread II that were stamped 23x10.5x12 and the actual height was only 21.5" when mounted and actually a little over pressurized.
