well, he drove 3 hours one way to get it, but now he has a red one. 782 CCC, dual hydr, w/44 deck, hydro turn blade, wheel weights and chains. he is the 3rd owner, has the registration from Feb of 1985, 1400 hrs on tractor, 300 hours on replacement series II engine. must be in the last run of "RED 782s" as a 743___ s/n which from what i have been able to see on the forum as being after 8/84.

Good for you Randy! Dual hydraulics too. Nice find.

Nice Find! That blade is gonna be the cats a$$ in another month when everyone is sick of snow. It will make snow removal a little more enjoyable!

The best of the best. Even though the hood says it's a 782, CCC/IH referred to the 782 tractors with factory installed dual hydraulics as 784's.

Very nice find - better shape than most.
My 782 as well as my 1512 both have the dual hydraulics. Never been able to locate a blade with the hydraulic angle though. 782 has a rebuilt 10 over Brigg's twin out of a 582. That will be more of a toy for me than a working tractor. Needs new gov. spring as the old one is soft and stretches out to much. 782's (784) are hard to find in these parts. Then finding one that the owner is willing to sell is another challenge.

looking for some model info, this 782 CCC twin stick has a replacement KHL 17 series 2 in it. well i found the model/spec plate, hit it w/a little brake clean and now lost all the numbers. what is the common model/spec for them? or is it in another place i have not found? the tag i wiped cleans is on the left top, inside just under the coil and fuel filter. we have a coil, not mags, no oil filter. any help would be appreciated as i want to get into the correct parts book. thanks randy

My 782 is CCC# 711742 probably '82 or '83. It has a KT-17 series II spec 24302.
