The 129 starter generator nut and washer that fastens the pulley came off. Heard this rumble and noticed pulley wobble. Is this part specific to this unit or can I go to Ace hardware and find it myself?

I would say pretty much part specific. Click on CCSpecialties at the top of the page, and look for one there.

That nut is a very strange combination of diameter and TPI. Googling "Delco generator nut" will yield a lot of results though.

In most cases Delco Remy SG shaft thread is metric M17 x 1.25mm.
Nearest non-standard inch thread (proved to work OK) is 0.668"- 20 TPI.

Went to a local rebuilder shop had on the shelf nut and washer $1.50
he mentioned that it’s a .668 diameter shaft specific to Delco Remy SG
he mentioned that it’s a .668 diameter shaft specific to Delco Remy SG
At that price,I would certainly do business his direction if I needed a repair.
