How many have rebuilt, or had their s/g rebuilt and used sealed bearings in the ones that maybe didn't have sealed bearings originally? I had them put in the 149 I sold and since I'm planning to buy 6 more Cub Cadets I've found I'll probably be rebuilding more starter-generators.

I put sealed bearings in the last one I had apart. (I had to. One of the bearings was frozen up.) I can't think of any good reason not to put sealed bearings in a starter generator, unless there are some that won't accept them. In fact, the last time I needed an open face bearing the parts man handed me a sealed bearing and told me if I wanted an open face bearing, to pop the seals out.
