being the fool that I am occassionaly, a 107 found it's way into my trailer today. Blade and deck also, the plus was it was driven on and ran fairly well The unique part: Previous owner(?) mounted a outboard motor lift on the back.A self-contained hyd. system for raising the snow blade.Actually looked like a good idea until I got it home and found lots of rust inside the power motor and brushes worn off It appears to be an older Mercury lift,any input appreciated......Enthusiasm waned some then the steering issue showed up and I had to remind myself these things are 50 yrs old and a bit tired... For several months I've been looking for a small snow plow cyl to do the same thing but cheap has held me back on that....I

Musta never heard of a spring assist, huh?
David, I don't know how many yrs it's been on there but it did work.I used to work for a guy who often reminded me "there are no new ideas just reapplication of old ones"( some exceptions noted) I'm sure the original installer was quite pleased with himself and he should have been...
