So Steve - after all this discussion you bought the black rubber seat on GREED-Bay, that is a copy of the white rubber correct seat for a 102 (and apparently standard on a 383 Cadet). Make sure you post some pics when you get it, and what ever you do at least clean it up before you put it in storage while you do all your house maintenance.

I might have to look into one for my 100.
My uncle's thrifty ingenuity using an exercise machine seat just doesn't go along with the rest of the tractor...🤨

Hydro, the 383 came with a more typical seat. I'm 100% certain that the Ohio rubber seat that Lonny had on his 383 was a PO mod.

Before Eagle Eye Hydro points out that the above brochure page is for a 382 gear drive, I'd best post the photos of the 282/383 hydro:

Kraig - Oh Great One (still) and Keeper of the Photos - geez, so the 382/383 came with the more standard black seat. Just where did the black version of the 102 seat come from then???

Hydro, I would assume it was available from Ohio Rubber as an aftermarket replacement seat.

Steve, good question. I've only seen photos of the one Lonny had and the one that Marty has. I may have heard of others but have not seen any others.

Steve, not if you plan on mounting it on a 122, should bolt right up.
