Return of the clutch noise. Possibly bent shaft?

Hey gang, I apologize I haven't been around much. Was busy working on my Fairlane over the summer, it was dry as hell so didn't use my CCs much, then I started teaching again.

Some time ago I had posted about a terrible clutch noise, Haven't really had any time to diagnose it, although a wonderful member here had offered to help.

I decided to fire my 128 up for the first time in a few months, and I took a closer look at the shaft while it was running and the parking brake was disengaged.

Unless I'm way off... something is bent. Is there some kind of bushing that should prevent this kind of movement or is the shaft simply bent? Not sure if anyone else has run into this before. I've attached a video so you can see what I'm talking about.

Appreciate your help!

~Tom

Would not be surprised if the bushing in the 3pin driver is worn out big time.
That plus the throw out bearing.
Does it make noise when depressing and releasing the clutch?
Best start to disassemble and inspect parts.

Like they said below, the bushing is gone.

Yup, I believe you're correct. It definitely appears to be completely worn out. Thank you for the link, I'll get to ordering a new one!
Based on your video you may have more problems than just the bushing. I'd definitely disassemble and find all your problems before ordering parts.

I'll take a look at the throw-out bearing as well. Here are pictures of the bearing in question. Doesn't look good!
Yes, the bearing could be shot. I'd also be concerned about the clutch disc itself. With the bushing gone the 3 holes in the disc for the 3 pin driver could be wallowed so the disc could be shot. You also can't really tell the condition of the teaser spring until it's disassembled and for that matter the main spring itself. I've seen them look ok until disassembly and then realized they were cracked.

If you'll notice, it also has a cheapo greedbay clutch disc, which won't be around long anyway!

I think we can see the problem...

Can't believe how badly this was wallowed out.

I'd put maybe one hour on this tractor since I bought it this spring. I use the 129 to mow. This was simply for pulling cars I'm working on, possibly plowing, etc. It did the job but I could never bring it up to full RPM without it shaking. Now I know why...

I put the new bushing in the freezer overnight. Easily pressed into place. Put it all back together and perfectly smooth! I'm ecstatic. Thanks everyone for the help.

I had the same issue with a noisy clutch yesterday. I had a spare drive plate with a good bushing to swap. Took me almost as long to find the spare in my parts boxes as it did to swap the drive plates.
