Certainly. I’m in no hurry, just trying to gauge value. Also I’m in Colorado and the Cubs don’t seem to be as plentiful as they are back east. Travel time and distance makes a difference.

this similar unit in Kansas was recently listed at $400

i believe it has since sold, and i believe it was a hydro (12-horse 7-series “127”)
craigslist, book-face marketplace, auctions… that’s where i occasionally see ‘em for sale
Good luck!

Pulling is my main interest, but I’m interested in Cubs generally, older Cubs specifically. For instance can someone tell me which models were shaft driven? I’ve been told the even number models.

Project pullers are out there for relatively low cost, but a low ante might equate to a higher get-it-going input cost. Good luck!
This example on CL near KC has patina. Maybe even a sleeper!

I agree. I have run across some very interesting old garden tractors for very little money. They are either very far away or would require a good chunk more money and time to get them in shape.

Jerrod, have you obtained a Cub Cadet yet? Here’s one just outside KC that could be had for less than $100. Guy said he’d take $50 but he’s not sure what shape the engine is in. I suspect he inherited it and just wants to move it out.
