I recommend doing it sooner rather than later. PO of my 149 welded a cross-tab on the front of my driveshaft where the pin is supposed to go in the slot of the coupler. I THOUGHT I could just leave it until later, but now I'm needing to do the crankshaft seals/bearings because it got chewed-up and out-of-balance (1/2" eccentric) before I realized it.
