Engine rebuild came to a screeching halt last night. On the bright side, I got the front PTO rebuilt and installed. (sorry no pics) So until I get the right parts I'm at a stop.
Pic of the front PTO installed. There was one of the 3 throw out levers missing when we pulled the engine. I'm glad I keep extra parts laying around. You never know when you will need them.
OK, so after my screw up and I ordered the wrong connecting rod, I finally got the correct connecting rod. Jackson and I got it back together and in the tractor. We had a graduation party to go to so hopefully we can get it finished later this week. Depends on what my "honey do" list looks like. LOL
On the subject of rods..........a local machine shop owner (years ago) was ate up with Kohler motors. He had found a bearing insert that he could make fit a Kohler motor. His shop is long gone now. Anybody else hear of such a setup. ?
