I believe most forums have a default server time zone (normally where the server is physically located) and then each user has a time zone preference. So if you are not logged in, and are looking as a “guest” then the forum will supply you the default time zone. Once you are logged into your account, those settings take over and give you the “correct“ time.

i see similar things on the other xenForo based forums I’m on/admin on. Things like color preferences, or if you’re not logged in, you see random ads, but being logged in, the ads are not shown.... etc.

Good info, Scott, and good to know. Stuff like that can make me crazy when I can't figure it out.
