Welcome to the Forum Ken! You will find lots of great information here on the site. Should you run into a challenge that you are looking for an immediate answer, check out the FAQ’s (frequently asked questions). I have used that a lot over the years with great success. As a matter of fact, dad and I used the stubborn steering wheel removal tips listed there just a few weeks ago to get the wheel off moms 782. Without the details there, I’m positive we would’ve wrecked the wheel. If you don’t find what you are looking for there, post questions here and someone will be along to help!

The 149 is an awesome machine-it is simple enough to be quite reliable and yet modern enough to have great attachments available to it for regular use. Good luck on yours and please start a thread to document what you do on it. We love pictures and they are easy to post.
We restored a 149 for my dad several years back and you can find the thread here...

It’s not the only one in the resto section about a 149. Lots of great info in those concerning your particular model.
