Hello everyone,

Not sure if I have ever introduced myself or not. I don't post much but here goes: I am Gary Payne, live in Central NC and have been a cub owner for a while. Right now I have 13 different tractors. Which includes 2 126s. I have two 1-A tillers, rear blade, several plows, cultivators and turnplows.

I do have a problem with one of my tillers (locked tines)so I guess it's time to repair. I did a search but could not locate a tread of anyone rebuilding a tiller. Do we have a technical library?

Probably did not type the right words in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Gary

You can get the manuals here,

Plus the Parts lookup helps a lot too.

Well all is well with the tiller! I would not have believed what was wrong if I had not seen it with my own eyes. We have sandstone rock here. We call it paint rock because if you break it open it has a clay powder inside. Well some how while tilling the garden one of those broken rocks some how caught on the end of the tine and jammed between the end of the tine and the tiller housing. The end of the tine was in the hollow of the broken rock. I really can't describe it but when I removed the hood there it was. Removed it and tiller works great! Never in a million years. Thanks for everyone's help.
