I bought this drill bit 14 years ago and I don't remember where nor is there a brand name on it.
I need to get a couple more and I need to know if anyone recognises the brand.
It's NOT BLACK OXIDE , it's kinda brown with a red haze mixed in maybe burnt umber color. It's the hardest high speed steel bit I've ever used , almost like carbide and after 14 years I screwed it up last night by forgetting to take out the parallel under it in the vise before I drilled.
It's just drilled 195" of solid steel in the past month so they are good bits!
