Anyone know how much a 782 plow can lift? I want to rig up a trailer moving hitch on the front.....

And, if I install a sleeve hitch on the rear using the hydraulics to lift it, how much can this lift?

Thanks

How much you could lift on the front depends on the geometry of the lift mechanism. I made this for moving a trailer...it does not lift, but it keeps the tongue weight of the trailer off the tractor and makes moving a trailer extremely easy:

Your tractor is a later version like mine, and the category 0 3 point hitch is the type of rear hitch it would have had. The lift spec for that is 450 lbs at 12" from the lower arm pivot. I have moved a trailer with my rear hitch on mine (~225 lb tongue weight) and that is about the max I can put on mine without the front end getting light.

The sleeve hitch will lift a good 250#, but is wobbly cause its only got a single attachment point at the end.

The cat 0 three point will lift a good 500# and can loft the front wheels off the ground. You get a lot better stability cause of the 3 points of attachment.
