Have a ticking sound around flywheel and pulleys and belts for PTO. Sound just like the popping sound when you pull a spark plug wire and put it to ground. I have disconnected the coil and can hear it while cranking the engine. Can anybody tell me what's making the noise please? Thanks in advance!

Without being there and doing the long screw driver in the ear thing, I'm bettin that your clutch is going to need work pretty soon.
You may have broke a spring on the pressure plate and or worn fingers on it.
Or the throwout bearing is getting crabby on ya.

You need to narrow it down a little more for us long distance guessers.
