I'm happy to have stumbled upon this forum! As a rookie in terms of riding mowers, I look forward to the weather of knowledge I'm sure to find here!

You found the right place for info on cub cadets.
However, these are mostly not riding mowers. They can mow, but there are three types.
1 Lawn mowers
2 Lawn tractors
3 Garden tractors
Most cub cadets (especially the older ones) are garden tractors. You can look it up online to get an explanation of each type.
If you have an IH built cub cadet, you have something that is almost the same as a modern "compact tractor." :bluethumbsup:
