Brian, WELCOME!

Looks like that 72 is in pretty good condition. It appears to have a rear lift, nice! I see a mower deck too, I'm guessing it's probably a 38".

It that what that is ? A lift ? I will have to take a closer look.
The mower deck is approx 48" wide and will be the first thing I remove to give me a little more room to move around in a 1 car garage.

Welcome, Brian, and hello from Minnesota. It's time to take that mower deck off and put the snow thrower on. Oh, that's right, you're in Florida! You found the right forum if you have any questions about your new-too-you 72. A lot of guys around here (NOT including me) know almost everything there is to know about these old time machines!

Brian, must be a 42” deck then, overall width would be about 48”. A photo of the rear would allow us to confirm if that’s indeed a rear lift.

Let me know if you need any parts or assistance.
I had this 72 down to the frame.

It looks to be a lift. the handle is back and the lift is in the up position.

Got it now, thanks mjame! I had to watch it move to understand the pivot part of the lift.
