Hey everyone, finally joining the ranks.
I’ve been looking at cub cadets for it feels like almost two years now, trying to find a deal on a garden tractor. Well last week I pulled an unwanted tractor out of its ingrown spot in the weeds where it sat for multiple years. After posting some pictures and the serial number on a Facebook group I was told it was an 800! She may be beat to heck and back, but I’m hoping to get the k181 running by the end of this week. Not sure what the plan is after that but the goal for now is running and driving. Not sure if she’s worth a full restoration, she’s only missing a few things and is mostly there but it looks like someone cut the frame to fit an aftermarket starter.
