I have looked through the manuals but was unable to find out how you check the level of/or add Hytran to the hydrostat on my 1650. What am I missing or am I just blind?
So, the differential and hydro share the same HyTran fluid. I was thinking the differential would use a heavier gear oil. Learning something everyday. ThanksThere’s a pipe plug in the back cover. Pull the plug and add fluid with a funnel until it flows out. Reinstall the plug.

I have used Cub Cadet Specialties, nice people to deal with.
Wow!
It's in the manual!!
Who'd of thunk it??!!
Now you tell me! Nothing wrong with a little self-promotion. Chalk one up for Digger. It is always fun being the new kid on the block or in this case gray-haired old goat. LOLPaul, just in case you aren't already aware, CC Specialties is owned by Charlie, aka Digger, and you are correct - he's good people to deal with. But don't let him hear you say it - we don't want his ego to blow up!
LOL
