I have looked through the manuals but was unable to find out how you check the level of/or add Hytran to the hydrostat on my 1650. What am I missing or am I just blind?

There’s a pipe plug in the back cover. Pull the plug and add fluid with a funnel until it flows out. Reinstall the plug.
So, the differential and hydro share the same HyTran fluid. I was thinking the differential would use a heavier gear oil. Learning something everyday. Thanks

Paul, just in case you aren't already aware, CC Specialties is owned by Charlie, aka Digger, and you are correct - he's good people to deal with. But don't let him hear you say it - we don't want his ego to blow up!

In Paul's defense he did post (see post #3) that he was not aware that the hydrostatic shared the fluid with the rear differential and the manual is not explicitly clear on it, as it refers to the differential as the transmission. And if one is not familiar with it, I can see where it could be confusing.
Now you tell me! Nothing wrong with a little self-promotion. Chalk one up for Digger. It is always fun being the new kid on the block or in this case gray-haired old goat. LOL
