Well after a couple years of dealing with a constant dead battery, I finally spent the money and had Charlie send me a new regulator. Wow, it actually charges the battery AND doesn't kill the battery when left hooked up anymore. WOW, miracles never cease?

I had constantly filed the points in the original regulator to just keep it barely working. It was never going to survive. A fresh new one now has it a reliable tractor again that I don't have to fuss with to get started. Open the fuel and hit the key and it fires right up. Nice. Money well spent.

Since I got the tractor I have:
rebuilt the engine
rebuilt the front axle(pivot and king pins)
rebuilt the steering box and new tie rods
new wiring harness
reinstalled a working electric lift
I blasted and painted the rims and put new tires on it, but I pirated those for my 149 that I use weekly. I need do that project over again.

One big thing left is get one of the decks I got with it rebuilt and functioning. But I have visions of building a loader for it? Would be a neat project.
