Hi everyone,

I am a new member and happy to be here. Thanks for letting me join. I have a 1650 that I am doing a factory new restoration on and things are progressing well. Its a late build. july '78, so still has 3/4" spindles, but uses the later steering wheel, cast aluminum front support, internal brake, etc. I have a 1650 parts tractor that I am getting that has dual hydro. So I will have all the bits needed to swap into my restoration tractor.

Here's my question...Is it possible to swap in the hard lines that go to the front of the tractor, or am I stuck having to pull the engine again just to route the lines along the ISO mounts and get everything to clear during the install? I want to complete the assembly of the restoration tractor and then add dual hydro at a later date once I restore all the bits from the parts tractor.

I thought about soft lines fabbed up by my local Pirtek hydraulic hose maker, but they are very expensive I wasn't sure if this was the only option though if the engine is already installed.

thanks!

Welcome Joe! Sounds like a great project. I would like to one day upgrade to dual hydraulics on my 782. Good luck with your project.
