Thanks in advance.
I read the posts about us newbes look up #s. I followed links and spent a pretty good amount of time trying. No joy. I have 1968 and 1973 42" 3 spindle, Mule "something " decks. The only number on deck is 422 U-1113.
This number does not seem to come up. Lots of references for the stamped decks. I found the manual, thanks. I have so far gotten 3 incorrect belts. This includes a visit to local Cub Cadet dealer. He also could not find listing in parts books and guessed, incorrectly. Help a fella out. Deck belt number or dementions/specs
Tim

42” Deck Belt:

Why I am seeing from this page:

http://cubfaq.com/belts.html
You need an: IH-477599-R2 - Belt Dimensions: 1/2 X 77"

That chart also had the PTO belt information, based on what tractor model it is being installed on.

There is a long list of FAQ’s on that site. The main list is located at:

Cub Cadet FAQ. (Thanks Charlie!!!)

Tim, just to be sure, are you looking for the spindle belt, the belt that connects the three blade spindles? Or are you looking for the PTO belt, the belt that connects the PTO to the mower deck? Scott gave you the part number and dimensions for the Spindle belt. The PTO belt as Scott mentioned, is tractor specific. Scott also linked to the main CUB FAQ and the FAQ entry for the belt chart.
