The 8 Horse Husky on the 3 wheeler is basically the same engine as the Cushman scooters, with some variation in the carb, plus most had an electric starter on them along with the kick start. The later ones mostly used a flat twin designed by OMC after they bought Cushman, although there was a single that was about the same as the Cushman Eagle used..
Here's my wife Sandy's that I sold a couple of years after she passed away - a '58. I had a blast working on and terrorizing the neighborhood with this - so much so that I just traded my 2014 HD Ultra Limited off on a '15 TriGlide....
