I recently got a 1250. Great shape but no lights!
Today I installed lights. I have clear but I thought these yellow fog lights would be neat.
How many Cub owners have a working hour meter? This one didn't so thought I'd attempt a repair.
A flat blade twisting, gauge face down allows front to come off. Lots of corrosion inside. It's made like an old car analog clock, a solenoid winds it with points switch. I alternated WD-40 and PB Blaster, with Blow-Off air spray. Finally got (escapement I think it's called) free. Finally it ran!
Points close and it winds about once/minute. The short white hand are seconds. Turn key off it runs for another minute.
