I have owned this 1250 since 1996. I bought it from the IH dealer in Portage Oh. Used it to mow for a few years and found out engine was worn out. Eventually had engine rebuilt but not installed in the tractor. Several years later had someone install the engine but he couldn't make it run. It sat for a few more years and finally got it running this spring. I use it all the time pulling a yard cart. Still need some more work but is way usable now

It's a working tractor, just doesn't work real hard. I have a few more repairs to do but it is enjoyable to run it around the yard.
