Marty - just in case you're not aware your Model 125 is part of what we call the 1x4/5 Series, here's a link to your specific Service Manual.

I'd suggest you review the entire section on the PTO Clutch. The clutch itself works as a quite simple operation, but in my view the assembly is quite complicated and maybe difficult to understand especially when going thru one for the first time.

I agree Hydro. It’s a bit hard to understand just looking at one mounted on an engine. ALL the small parts are important. When assembled properly they work quite well & for a very long time.

What is the diameter, thickness of the clutch wear/thrust button (button that pushes against the clutch button) and what diameter is the shaft that goes through the throw out arm? We don't have one, and I can machine one out of brass if I know the dimensions.
Thanks in advance!
Marty

Hey Neil - if you stole that information some place you should note that as well and provide credit to that person/place. Otherwise we'll have to give you ALL the credit.

Didn’t steal it! LOL. Just bought a new one from CC specialty that I haven’t installed. I could have made a bronze one or from high wear plastic. Time vs. cost thing for me.

Ok Neil - so you get all the credit. I am wondering how you made that document with the dimensions, etc. Pretty fancy with the bent arrows and stuff. Is that some type of special software?
