Are the Cub 102 and 104 deck shells interchangeable? The deck on my 102 has rust holes and the steel has gotten so thin in those spots I will have a hard time welding patches on. I found a NOS 104 deck shell on Ebay and if everything fits the same I would like to switch decks. Thanks in advance

Photos will help to be sure of what decks they actually are, as well as the deck carriage. Typically the 102 has a "pin on" style deck while the 104 would have a "quick attach" so you would need the proper deck carriage as well. The "quick attach" style will bolt onto the 102. What size decks are they, 38", 42" or 48"?

Your deck likely has the cast ends then. The later quick attach style, that the 104 would use, is the stamped deck.

Here's a cast end, pin on deck:

The stamped, quick attach style uses this carriage:

Yes it looks exactly like the first picture. It has the cast plates and is a pin on. Are there any other decks I could look for that would be a direct fit on the carriage I have?

Just the 38", the 42" cast end pin on decks and the early stamped 48" deck with the hoop rod discharge protector.
